En fait, pas tellement ! Le style du pianiste convient mieux aux Moments Musicaux de Schubert, qui sont en revanche tout-\u00e0-fait agr\u00e9ables. L\u2019album est tir\u00e9 d\u2019un coffret tr\u00e8s in\u00e9gal mais globalement d\u00e9cevant eu \u00e9gard \u00e0 la r\u00e9putation assez \u00e9lev\u00e9e &#8211;<em>et que j\u2019ai du mal<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>comprendre\u2026<\/em>&#8211; de ce pianiste.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/latelierdediablotin.fr\/WordPress3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/BusteBeethoven042021.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-10489\" src=\"https:\/\/latelierdediablotin.fr\/WordPress3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/BusteBeethoven042021.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"206\" height=\"250\" srcset=\"https:\/\/latelierdediablotin.fr\/WordPress3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/BusteBeethoven042021.jpg 255w, https:\/\/latelierdediablotin.fr\/WordPress3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/BusteBeethoven042021-247x300.jpg 247w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 206px) 100vw, 206px\" \/><\/a>\u2022 Edwin Fischer<\/strong>, pianiste &#8211;<em>et, para\u00eet-il, grand p\u00e9dagogue du piano<\/em>&#8211; suisse, fut tr\u00e8s c\u00e9l\u00e8bre en son temps pour ses interpr\u00e9tations des oeuvres de Beethoven : son cinqui\u00e8me concerto, accompagn\u00e9 par Furtw\u00e4ngler, est m\u00eame consid\u00e9r\u00e9 par certains comme l\u2019un des plus grands disques de tous les temps, mais comme je dois \u00eatre aussi sourd que le compositeur, cela ne m\u2019a jamais frapp\u00e9. Dans cet album, qui propose les trois derni\u00e8res sonates du \u00ab\u00a0Grand sourd\u00a0\u00bb, je reste sur ma faim. Le jeu du pianiste n\u2019est de loin pas parfait &#8211;<em>pour faire simple : c\u2019est aussi brouillon que Schnabel, mais beaucoup moins urgent<\/em>&#8211; et la prise de son, moyenne pour l\u2019\u00e9poque, n\u2019aide pas beaucoup\u2026<\/p>\n<audio class=\"wp-audio-shortcode\" id=\"audio-10483-1\" preload=\"none\" style=\"width: 100%;\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"audio\/mpeg\" src=\"https:\/\/latelierdediablotin.fr\/WordPress3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Extrait20042021.mp3?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/latelierdediablotin.fr\/WordPress3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Extrait20042021.mp3\">https:\/\/latelierdediablotin.fr\/WordPress3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Extrait20042021.mp3<\/a><\/audio>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u2022<\/strong> Les \u00ab\u00a0Variations Enigma\u00a0\u00bb d\u2019Elgar par <strong>Leonard Bernstein<\/strong> constituent l\u2019un des plus beaux contresens de ce chef, qui en commit beaucoup, au moins \u00e0 mes oreilles, et pouvait se montrer remarquablement outrancier &#8211;<em>certaines symphonies de Mahler ou les trois derni\u00e8res de Tcha\u00efkovsky par exemple<\/em>&#8211; \u00e0 la fin de sa vie : c\u2019est tout-\u00e0-fait le cas ici ! Scandale suppl\u00e9mentaire, il alla jusqu\u2019\u00e0 surnommer Elgar \u00ab\u00a0My fellow Eddy\u00a0\u00bb &#8211;<em>trad : \u00ab\u00a0Mon pote Eddy\u00a0\u00bb<\/em>-, ce qui est un crime de l\u00e8se-majest\u00e9 en Angleterre, o\u00f9 toute trace de puritanisme n\u2019a pas disparu ! Certains mouvements sont largement \u00e9tir\u00e9s, d\u2019autres, jou\u00e9s \u00e0 un tempo relativement traditionnel, sont \u00e9trangement sonores mais assez pauvres en couleurs, malgr\u00e9 une prise de son de qualit\u00e9.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/latelierdediablotin.fr\/WordPress3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Bernstein042021.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10487\" src=\"https:\/\/latelierdediablotin.fr\/WordPress3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Bernstein042021.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"750\" height=\"390\" srcset=\"https:\/\/latelierdediablotin.fr\/WordPress3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Bernstein042021.jpg 750w, https:\/\/latelierdediablotin.fr\/WordPress3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Bernstein042021-300x156.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u2022<\/strong> Je devais avoir bu lorsque j\u2019ai achet\u00e9 &#8211;<em>pour une bouch\u00e9e de pain, heureusement !<\/em> &#8211; l\u2019album des <strong>Sparks<\/strong> : en fait, non ! Je revois encore le bac \u00e0 soldes o\u00f9 il avait \u00e9t\u00e9 oubli\u00e9 et j\u2019esp\u00e9rais retrouver dans cet album le m\u00eame niveau de qualit\u00e9 que dans leur excellent \u00ab\u00a0Kimono My House, mais ce n\u2019est pas du tout le cas. L\u2019album part dans tous les sens, et m\u00eame si les paroles sont souvent int\u00e9ressantes et malicieuses, la musique est trop \u00e9lectro-pop pour mes oreilles.
