L\u2019op\u00e9ra suit une forme mixte en reprenant un certain nombre d&rsquo;\u00e9l\u00e9ments du grand op\u00e9ra fran\u00e7ais &#8211;<em>mascarade, ch\u0153urs, danses<\/em>&#8211; et op\u00e9ra psychologique russe &#8211;<em>obsession morbide, d\u00e9sespoir, passion amoureuse destructrice&#8230;<\/em>&#8211; .<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Je n\u2019en ai qu\u2019une version en discoth\u00e8que &#8211;<em>cliquer sur l\u2019image pour la voir en plus grand<\/em>-, d\u00e9j\u00e0 relativement ancienne &#8211;<em>1977<\/em>-, achet\u00e9e il y a suffisamment longtemps pour que je ne me souvienne plus quand exactement, alors que l\u2019oeuvre \u00e9tait encore relativement peu enregistr\u00e9e en Europe occidentale et assez rare dans les bacs des disquaires. Elle me semble suffisamment convenable pour ne pas avoir envie d&rsquo;en d\u00e9couvrir d&rsquo;autres, m\u00eame si des versions plus r\u00e9centes dont j&rsquo;ai pu entendre ic ou l\u00e0 des extraits exposent sans doute mieux le versant profond\u00e9ment russe de l&rsquo;oeuvre. C\u2019est, par ailleurs, un op\u00e9ra plut\u00f4t facile d&rsquo;acc\u00e8s malgr\u00e9 son livret, mais que je n\u2019\u00e9coute que tr\u00e8s rarement &#8211;<em>je l&rsquo;appr\u00e9cie cependant \u00e0 chaque \u00e9coute, et c&rsquo;est encore le cas aujourd&rsquo;hui<\/em>-.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-14873\" src=\"https:\/\/latelierdediablotin.fr\/WordPress3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/RostroVichnev_Portrait052025-249x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"249\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/latelierdediablotin.fr\/WordPress3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/RostroVichnev_Portrait052025-249x300.jpg 249w, https:\/\/latelierdediablotin.fr\/WordPress3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/RostroVichnev_Portrait052025.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 249px) 100vw, 249px\" \/>La notice en ligne, <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/La_Dame_de_pique_(op\u00e9ra)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>ici<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, est plut\u00f4t compl\u00e8te et rend assez bien compte de la difficult\u00e9 \u00e0 restituer de mani\u00e8re coh\u00e9rente ce \u00ab\u00a0conte musical\u00a0\u00bb dot\u00e9 d&rsquo;un argument plut\u00f4t rocambolesque, o\u00f9 le fantastique, le symbolisme &#8211;<em>le destin, la passion morbide, la mort<\/em>&#8211; et la psychologie occupent beaucoup de place, de surcro\u00eet chant\u00e9 en russe, une langue pour laquelle je n\u2019ai gu\u00e8re de rep\u00e8res.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-14870\" src=\"https:\/\/latelierdediablotin.fr\/WordPress3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/DamePique052025-195x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"385\" srcset=\"https:\/\/latelierdediablotin.fr\/WordPress3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/DamePique052025-195x300.jpg 195w, https:\/\/latelierdediablotin.fr\/WordPress3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/DamePique052025.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 250px) 100vw, 250px\" \/>L\u2019orchestration, en revanche, est tout-\u00e0-fait digne du plus pur Tcha\u00efkovsky, qui s&rsquo;y est toujours entendu pour faire sonner un orchestre : c\u2019est tr\u00e8s riche, color\u00e9 et contrast\u00e9, l\u2019orchestre est utilis\u00e9 au service de l\u2019action, tant\u00f4t l\u00e9ger et brillant, tant\u00f4t beaucoup plus sombre et presque dissonant pour des sc\u00e8nes plus introspectives. L&rsquo;orchestration et son harmonie servent \u00e0 d\u00e9peindre le glissement progressif vers la folie d&rsquo;Hermann.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">La version du jour propose un plateau compos\u00e9 des stars de l\u2019\u00e9poque, dont Mstislav Rostropovich, qui d\u00e9laisse ici son violoncelle pour s\u2019emparer d\u2019une baguette de chef d\u2019orchestre et diriger un orchestre fran\u00e7ais et des choeurs fran\u00e7ais et russes : du fait de son \u00e9norme vibrato, ce n\u2019est pas, et de loin, mon violoncelliste pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 malgr\u00e9 tout son talent et son aura m\u00e9diatique ; ce n\u2019est pas non plus, \u00e0 mes oreilles, le chef d\u2019orchestre le plus passionn\u00e9\/passionnant dans une oeuvre qui en demande &#8211;<em>et en expose<\/em>&#8211; pourtant beaucoup\u2026<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Son \u00e9pouse \u00e0 la ville, Galina Vichnevskaya, me semble un peu m\u00fbre pour jouer les oies blanches dans le r\u00f4le de Lisa. En revanche, le reste du casting est tr\u00e8s bon, et surtout, Regina Resnik, dont l&rsquo;essentiel de la carri\u00e8re s&rsquo;est d\u00e9roul\u00e9e dans les ann\u00e9es 50, est excellente dans l&rsquo;incarnation de la vieille Comtesse et constitue l\u2019attraction principale, \u00e0 mes oreilles, de cette version.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">L&rsquo;album, toujours disponible au catalogue de l&rsquo;\u00e9diteur, est enregistr\u00e9 dans les studios de Radio-France \u00e0 Paris et b\u00e9n\u00e9fice de bonnes conditions
