Le pianiste, n\u00e9 dix ans avant Arrau, avait pr\u00e8s de 80 ans au moment de sa r\u00e9alisation, et ses doigts r\u00e9pondent parfois difficilement aux exigences de ces partitioons. Les Waldszenen font partie des pi\u00e8ces les plus r\u00e9ussies &#8211;<em>mais les \u00ab\u00a0\u00c9tudes symphoniques\u00a0\u00bb, par exemple, sont \u00e0 \u00e9viter<\/em>-. De tr\u00e8s nombreux disques de Wilhelm Kempff souffrent souvent de prises de son assez m\u00e9talliques et manquant de graves, alors que son \u00e9diteur savait r\u00e9aliser d&rsquo;excellentes prises de son de piano depuis longtemps&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>\u2022 Etudes symphoniques<\/strong> &#8211; Emil Gilels &#8211; 1984 <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>*****<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L\u2019enregistrement, live, fut r\u00e9alis\u00e9 lors de l\u2019un des tout deniers concerts d\u2019Emil Gilels, en septembre 1984 \u00e0 Locarno, en Suisse. Les \u00ab\u00a0\u00c9tudes symphoniques\u00a0\u00bb de Schumann constituaient la derni\u00e8re oeuvre de ce concert, qui comprenaient \u00e9galement quelques sonates pour piano de Scarlatti en entr\u00e9e, suivies de \u00ab\u00a0Pour elle piano\u00a0\u00bb de Debussy.
