Il convient d\u2019accompagner ces trois albums du single \u00ab<strong>Charlotte Sometimes<\/strong>\u00bb &#8211;<em>1981<\/em>&#8211; et de l\u2019insolite et peu connu support musical &#8211;<span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=GN7acmhbuJQ&amp;list=RDGN7acmhbuJQ&amp;start_radio=1&amp;t=40s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>une longue et lente m\u00e9lop\u00e9e, tr\u00e8s hypnotique<\/em><\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span>&#8211; du film d\u2019animation \u00ab<strong>Carnage Visors<\/strong>\u00bb &#8211;<em>1981<\/em>&#8211; pour compl\u00e9ter cette premi\u00e8re trilogie, qui \u00e9volue peu \u00e0 peu du minimalisme introverti vers l\u2019album le plus sombre, d\u2019une noirceur absolue et d\u2019un caract\u00e8re d\u00e9pressif total, de toute la discographie pop-rock des ann\u00e9es 80 &#8211;<em>et au-del\u00e0<\/em>-. Cette \u00abTrilogie glac\u00e9e\u00bb &#8211;<em>cliquer sur l&rsquo;image de droite pour la voir en plus grand<\/em>&#8211; a tr\u00e8s largement contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 installer The Cure comme l\u2019un des groupes embl\u00e9matiques du mouvement \u00abgothique\u00bb, ce que r\u00e9cuse pourtant Robert Smith.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Puis, le groupe, \u00e0 la composition d\u00e9j\u00e0 tr\u00e8s fluctuante malgr\u00e9 son jeune \u00e2ge, se s\u00e9para une premi\u00e8re fois et Robert Smith, parall\u00e8lement \u00e0 une carri\u00e8re de guitariste avec The Banshees ou l&rsquo;\u00e9ph\u00e9m\u00e8re et psych\u00e9d\u00e9lique groupe The Glove, sortit avec The Cure dans une formation fortement renouvel\u00e9e deux albums tr\u00e8s pop et beaucoup plus l\u00e9gers \u00abThe Top\u00bb, puis \u00abThe Head On The Door\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Quelques albums plus tard, et nous arrivons en 1989, avec la sortie de \u00ab<strong>Disintegration<\/strong>\u00bb, album aussi m\u00e9lancolique que \u00abPornography\u00bb \u00e9tait sombre. Pour beaucoup de fans, il s\u2019agit de leur album pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9, qui marque un certain retour aux sources des inspirations premi\u00e8res de Robert Smith. Cet excellent disque est le deuxi\u00e8me volet d\u2019une nouvelle trilogie, entam\u00e9e par \u00abPoronography\u00bb et qui, dans l\u2019esprit de \u00abFat Bob\u00bb, devait s\u2019achever avec \u00ab<strong>Bloodflowers<\/strong>\u00bb, paru en 2000, dans une formation encore passablement renouvel\u00e9e. C\u2019est ainsi qu\u2019il est pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 par le leader du groupe, notamment \u00e0 l\u2019occasion des deux concerts-fleuve enregistr\u00e9s \u00e0 Berlin en 2002.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u00ab\u00a0Les albums <i>Pornography<\/i>, <i>Disintegration<\/i> et <i>Bloodflowers<\/i> sont inexorablement li\u00e9s pour bien des raisons, et la r\u00e9alisation du programme <i>Trilogy<\/i> fait la lumi\u00e8re sur mon exp\u00e9rience de The Cure<sup id=\"cite_ref-10\" class=\"reference\"><\/sup>. \u00bb &#8211; Robert Smith (2002)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pourtant, \u00ab Bloodflower \u00bb, s&rsquo;il n\u2019est pas indigne dans la discographie tr\u00e8s in\u00e9gale du groupe depuis le milieu des ann\u00e9es 90 o\u00f9 il s\u2019inscrit dans une veine plut\u00f4t douce et m\u00e9lancolique, ne me semble pas \u00e0 la hauteur de cette seconde trilogie, et seuls deux titres de cet album en seraient dignes \u00e0 mes oreilles : le somptueux \u00ab Watching Me Fall \u00bb, et, dans une moindre mesure, le m\u00e9lancolique \u00ab Bloodflowers \u00bb.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/latelierdediablotin.fr\/WordPress3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Talk-Talk-Such-A-Shame-Basse-mp3-image.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-12303\" src=\"https:\/\/latelierdediablotin.fr\/WordPress3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Talk-Talk-Such-A-Shame-Basse-mp3-image.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"52\" height=\"175\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En r\u00e9alit\u00e9, le troisi\u00e8me volet de cette trilogie est, pour moi -et pour bien d\u2019autres\u2026- le tout dernier opus paru : \u00ab\u00a0<strong>Songs Of A Lost World<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb &#8211;<em>2024<\/em>-.
