Son concerto pour violoncelle n\u00b02 &#8211;<em>pas \u00e9cout\u00e9 ce jour<\/em>-est de la m\u00eame eau, et les deux sont, \u00e0 mes oreilles, bien plus int\u00e9ressants que ses concertos pour piano. Tr\u00e8s belle version de Pierre Fournier, sagement accompagn\u00e9 par un orchestre \u00e0 cordes aux dimensions ad\u00e9quates.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"background-color: #fdffba;\"><strong>\u2022 Robert Schumann<\/strong><\/span> &#8211; Concerto pour violoncelle en la mineur<br \/>\nMstislav Rostropovich &#8211; Orchestre Philharmonique de Leningrad, Gennadi Rojdestvensky &#8211; 1961 <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>***<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Je n&rsquo;ai jamais compl\u00e8tement accroch\u00e9 au gros son vibr\u00e9 de Rostropovich, \u00ab\u00a0star des violoncellistes\u00a0\u00bb couramment encens\u00e9 par de nombreux m\u00e9lomanes. Alors qu&rsquo;il est assez jeune encore, cette caract\u00e9ristique est un peu moins flagrante dans ce concerto pour violoncelle de Schumann, nettement plus r\u00e9ussi que son concerto pour violon, mais je pr\u00e9f\u00e8re d&rsquo;autres versions moins \u00ab\u00a0expansives\u00a0\u00bb, m\u00eame si l&rsquo;accompagnement orchestral de Rojdestvensky est tr\u00e8s bon.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"background-color: #fdffba;\"><strong>\u2022 Edward Elgar<\/strong><\/span> &#8211; Concerto pour violoncelle en mi mineur \u2022 Variations \u00ab\u00a0Enigma\u00a0\u00bb<br \/>\nPierre Fournier &#8211; Orchestre Philharmonique de Berlin, Alfred Wallenstein &#8211; 1967 <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>*****<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nOrchestre Symphonique de Londres, Eugen Jochum &#8211; 1975 <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>*****<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mon concerto pour violoncelle pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9, compos\u00e9 en 1919, tr\u00e8s bien repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 dans ma discoth\u00e8que, dans des versions toutes r\u00e9ussies \u00e0 des degr\u00e9s divers, et notamment la l\u00e9gendaire version de Jacqueline Dupr\u00e9 accompagn\u00e9es par John Barbirolli. L&rsquo;enregistrement de Pierre Fournier, quasi-contemporain, est \u00e0 mon avis aussi beau tout en \u00e9tant plus retenu, justifiant l&rsquo;appr\u00e9ciation d'\u00a0\u00bbaristocrate du violoncelle\u00a0\u00bb attach\u00e9e Fournier.<br \/>\nLes variations \u00ab\u00a0Enigma\u00a0\u00bb &#8211;<em>l&rsquo;une de mes oeuvres f\u00e9tiches de mes nuits sans dormir et des mieux repr\u00e9sent\u00e9e dans ma discoth\u00e8que&#8230;<\/em>&#8211; qui figurent sur le m\u00eame album sont d&rsquo;une tr\u00e8s belle tenue \u00e9galement.<\/p>\n<audio class=\"wp-audio-shortcode\"
