D\u00e8s les ann\u00e9es 50, il rassemblait autour de lui plusieurs musiciens de jazz pour enregistrer de tr\u00e8s nombreuses pi\u00e8ces de Chicago Blues. Lui-m\u00eame guitariste plut\u00f4t talentueux, il passa peu \u00e0 peu \u00e0 la guitare \u00e9lectrique, avec une grande circonspection cependant.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/latelierdediablotin.fr\/WordPress3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Jagger_BluesIncorporated.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-2066\" src=\"https:\/\/latelierdediablotin.fr\/WordPress3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Jagger_BluesIncorporated.jpg\" alt=\"Jagger_BluesIncorporated\" width=\"350\" height=\"205\" srcset=\"https:\/\/latelierdediablotin.fr\/WordPress3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Jagger_BluesIncorporated.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/latelierdediablotin.fr\/WordPress3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Jagger_BluesIncorporated-300x176.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 350px) 100vw, 350px\" \/><\/a>Au tournant des ann\u00e9es 60, il jouait chaque semaine\u00a0au Marquee Club, o\u00f9 ses fans s&rsquo;appelaient Mick Jagger, Brian Jones, Eric\u00a0Burdon ou Eric\u00a0Clapton &#8211;<em>le public traditionnel d&rsquo;amateurs de jazz fut peu \u00e0 peu remplac\u00e9 par un public d&rsquo;adolscents amateurs de \u00ab\u00a0negro music\u00a0\u00bb, comme on disait\u00a0dans l&rsquo;Angleterre\u00a0de l&rsquo;\u00e9poque<\/em>-. Brian Jones, en particulier, eut l&rsquo;occasion de jouer au sein de ses Blues Incorporated &#8211;<em>sous le nom d&rsquo;Elmo Lewis, il tenait la partie de \u00ab\u00a0bottleneck guitar\u00a0\u00bb dans le titre \u00ab\u00a0Dust my bloom\u00a0\u00bb d&rsquo;Elmore James<\/em>-. Plus tard, Alexis Korner invita, en premi\u00e8re partie, le groupe Little Boy Blue and the Blue Boys &#8211;<em>cliquer sur <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>l&rsquo;image d&rsquo;archive<\/strong><\/span> pour la voir en grand<\/em>-, compos\u00e9, notamment, de Mick Jagger et Keith Richards &#8211;<em>leur rencontre avec Brian Jones donna naissance aux Rolling Stones<\/em>-. Au sein des Blues incorporated d&rsquo;Alexis Korner, une vraie p\u00e9pini\u00e8re de musiciens est n\u00e9e : Charlie Watts et Ginger Baker \u00e0 la batterie, Jack Bruce \u00e0 la basse, Cyril Davies \u00e0 l&rsquo;harmonica&#8230; L&rsquo;\u00e9mergence du British Blues le d\u00e9passa rapidement, des groupes comme les Rolling Stones, les Yardbirds ou les Animals, puis les Cream, contribuant \u00e0 le rel\u00e9guer progressivement dans l&rsquo;ombre. Pourtant, sans lui, rien ne serait arriv\u00e9&#8230;<\/p>\n<audio class=\"wp-audio-shortcode\" id=\"audio-2057-1\" preload=\"none\" style=\"width: 100%;\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"audio\/mpeg\" src=\"https:\/\/latelierdediablotin.fr\/WordPress3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/02.-Whoa-Babe.mp3?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/latelierdediablotin.fr\/WordPress3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/02.-Whoa-Babe.mp3\">https:\/\/latelierdediablotin.fr\/WordPress3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/02.-Whoa-Babe.mp3<\/a><\/audio>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Son meilleur continuateur, en Angleterre, fut l&rsquo;autre d\u00e9couvreur de talents : <strong>John Mayall<\/strong>, qui fonda, pour sa part, les <strong>Bluesbreakers<\/strong>, formation largement mouvante, qui permit de populariser le talent des trois meilleurs guitaristes de blues anglais : Eric Clapton, Peter Green et Mick Taylor. Tous trois connurent ensuite des carri\u00e8res plut\u00f4t chaotiques, mais au sein des Bluesbreakers, ils donn\u00e8rent, tr\u00e8s jeunes, le meilleur d&rsquo;eux-m\u00eames, contribuant ainsi \u00e0 forger leurs l\u00e9gendes respectives et \u00e9clipsant quelque peu leur mentor, qui, \u00e0 plus de 80 ans, poursuit sa carri\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<audio class=\"wp-audio-shortcode\" id=\"audio-2057-2\" preload=\"none\" style=\"width: 100%;\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"audio\/mpeg\" src=\"https:\/\/latelierdediablotin.fr\/WordPress3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/04-Hartley-Quits.mp3?_=2\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/latelierdediablotin.fr\/WordPress3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/04-Hartley-Quits.mp3\">https:\/\/latelierdediablotin.fr\/WordPress3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/04-Hartley-Quits.mp3<\/a><\/audio>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Enfin, le cas de <strong>Mike Bloomfield<\/strong> est un peu part : am\u00e9ricain, il fut le premier guitariste blanc \u00e0 percer dans le domaine du blues aux Etats-Unis et y popularisa, notamment, l&rsquo;utilisation de la Gibson Les Paul. Virtuose brillant mais peu ostentatoire, une timidit\u00e9 maladive, une sant\u00e9 tr\u00e8s pr\u00e9caire &#8211;<em>insomniaque chronique, il ratait de sessions d&rsquo;enregistrement en s&rsquo;endormant la journ\u00e9e<\/em>&#8211; et l&rsquo;addiction \u00e0 diverses substances ne lui permirent jamais d&rsquo;acc\u00e9der \u00e0 la notori\u00e9t\u00e9 ultime, du fait de choix erratiques, d&rsquo;une part, et de l&rsquo;\u00e9mergence de Jimi Hendrix\u00a0d&rsquo;autre part, \u00a0qui le rel\u00e9gua au second plan, tr\u00e8s injustement tant leurs styles n&rsquo;ont rien \u00e0 voir : Mike Bloomfield cherchait avant tout la beaut\u00e9 de la sonorit\u00e9 et la puret\u00e9, il exploita donc peu les possibilit\u00e9s offertes par le feedback et les effets vari\u00e9s. Cependant, Mike Bloomfield reste important et a marqu\u00e9 l&rsquo;histoire de la musique am\u00e9ricaine puisque c&rsquo;est lui qui est responsable de l&rsquo;\u00e9lectrification de la folk\u00a0music de Bob Dylan : le guitariste l&rsquo;accompagne en effet sur l&rsquo;album \u00ab\u00a0Highway 61 revisited\u00a0\u00bb et y tient les parties de guitare \u00e9lectrique.
