J&rsquo;ai donc emprunt\u00e9 ce petit coffret \u00e0 la m\u00e9diath\u00e8que, pour m&rsquo;en faire une id\u00e9e. On y trouve notamment du tr\u00e8s joli <strong>Mozart<\/strong> et un <strong>Schubert<\/strong> avenant.<br \/>\nPour le reste, la confrontation avec les grands concertos du r\u00e9pertoire me laisse sur ma faim : notamment, le premier concerto pour piano de <strong>Brahms<\/strong>, dans la premi\u00e8re version que le pianiste en enregistra &#8211;<em>il para\u00eet qu&rsquo;une autre version est l\u00e9gendaire, j&rsquo;ai un peu de mal \u00e0 l&rsquo;imaginer<\/em>&#8211; m&rsquo;a fait penser \u00e0 la fable de La Fontaine \u00ab\u00a0La grenouille qui voulait se faire aussi grosse que le boeuf\u00a0\u00bb.<br \/>\nIl en va de m\u00eame avec la sonate de <strong>Liszt<\/strong>, plut\u00f4t claire et tr\u00e8s chamboul\u00e9e parfois, et j&rsquo;ai \u00e9t\u00e9 franchement <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>tr\u00e8s<\/em><\/span> d\u00e9\u00e7u par les \u00ab\u00a0Variations Eroica\u00a0\u00bb de <strong>Beethoven<\/strong>, compl\u00e8tement bizarres et heurt\u00e9es rythmiquement et vraiment loin de mon id\u00e9al. En d\u00e9finitive, les critiques anglais sont aussi chauvins lorsqu&rsquo;ils parlent d&rsquo;artistes locaux que les critiques fran\u00e7ais lorsqu&rsquo;ils parlent d&rsquo;artistes fran\u00e7ais\u2026<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/latelierdediablotin.fr\/WordPress3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/PThomson.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-6461\" src=\"https:\/\/latelierdediablotin.fr\/WordPress3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/PThomson-169x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"197\" height=\"350\" srcset=\"https:\/\/latelierdediablotin.fr\/WordPress3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/PThomson-169x300.jpg 169w, https:\/\/latelierdediablotin.fr\/WordPress3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/PThomson.jpg 418w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 197px) 100vw, 197px\" \/><\/a>Du coup, pour me remettre les oreilles \u00e0 l&rsquo;endroit, je suis retourn\u00e9 aux m\u00eames variations par Emil Gilels, admirable d&rsquo;abattage et beaucoup plus engag\u00e9e. Il est curieux de constater que le pianiste russe se montrait un architecte tr\u00e8s patient dans les sonates de Beethoven, mais joua toujours les diff\u00e9rentes s\u00e9ries de variations sur des tempi rapides et avec une ph\u00e9nom\u00e9nale virtuosit\u00e9, sans jamais sacrifier la construction.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L&rsquo;autre souvenir d&rsquo;une relative d\u00e9ception est ce live des <strong>Cure<\/strong> \u00e0 Saint-Malo, en 2005. J&rsquo;y \u00e9tais, j&rsquo;avais assez peu appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 le concert, du fait d&rsquo;un son tr\u00e8s m\u00e9diocre et d&rsquo;un public relativement avin\u00e9 et agit\u00e9. Le groupe, en quatuor \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9poque, n&rsquo;avait plus de clavier, et, malgr\u00e9 tout l&rsquo;immense talent de Porl Thomson \u00e0 la guitare &#8211;<em>cliquer sur l&rsquo;image tte de droite pour la voir en plus grand<\/em>-, cette absence se fait parfois cruellement ressentir. Le concert fut film\u00e9 partiellement par Arte, et permet enfin d&rsquo;entendre la guitare acoustique, essentielle sur l&rsquo;extrait ci-dessous : en vrai et d&rsquo;o\u00f9 j&rsquo;\u00e9tais, on ne l&rsquo;entendait pas du tout&#8230;<\/p>\n<audio class=\"wp-audio-shortcode\" id=\"audio-6457-1\" preload=\"none\" style=\"width: 100%;\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"audio\/mpeg\" src=\"https:\/\/latelierdediablotin.fr\/WordPress3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/Extrait16072017.mp3?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/latelierdediablotin.fr\/WordPress3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/Extrait16072017.mp3\">https:\/\/latelierdediablotin.fr\/WordPress3\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/Extrait16072017.mp3<\/a><\/audio>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L\u00e0 encore, il a fallu me remettre les oreilles \u00e0 l&rsquo;endroit, avec un autre concert d&rsquo;un tout autre genre, oscillant entre blues et jazz-rock avec cet excellent concert \u00ab\u00a0pirate\u00a0\u00bb de <strong>Mick Taylor<\/strong> dans un \u00ab\u00a0caf\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb de Philadelphie, en 1987.
