Ils datent tous, en effet, d&rsquo;avant l&rsquo;apparition du \u00ab\u00a0HIP revival\u00a0\u00bb mais n&rsquo;en sont pas moins tout-\u00e0-fait excellents ! Chef inscrit dans le courant \u00ab\u00a0objectif\u00a0\u00bb en vigueur aux Etats-Unis \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9poque, il propose une vision d\u00e9j\u00e0 assez proche de certaines versions actuelles : rapidit\u00e9 et fluidit\u00e9, \u00e9quilibre des pupitres, en particulier dans le premier mouvement, quasi-id\u00e9al \u00e0 mes oreilles !<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00ab\u00a0Le songe d&rsquo;une nuit d&rsquo;\u00e9t\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong> propos\u00e9 par Klemperer est beaucoup plus marmor\u00e9en ! La lecture tr\u00e8s verticale du vieux colosse &#8211;<em>le chef mesurait presque 2 m\u00e8tres et sa silhouette \u00e9tait assez massive<\/em>-, enregistr\u00e9e en 1960, apporte beaucoup de s\u00e9rieux \u00e0 une oeuvre qui n&rsquo;en demande sans doute pas tant, mais b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie par ailleurs de tr\u00e8s bons chanteurs et reste tout-\u00e0-fait belle et int\u00e9ressante.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>La quatri\u00e8me symphonie \u00ab\u00a0Italienne\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong> enregistr\u00e9e en 1971 par Karajan et sa philharmonie de Berlin joue \u00e0 jeu le fond de la grande symphonie romantique et constitue une belle r\u00e9ussite dans cette perspective.
